| The Folland Gnat T Mk1 was the RAF's first transonic jet training aircraft. Designed in the early 1950's it served as the RAF's advanced jet trainer until the mid 1970's. Made famous as the chosen mount of the Red Arrows and flown from RAF Kemble in Gloucestershire, the Gnat thrilled millions of fans until the Red Arrows switched to the Hawk.
